Main Entrance Approach, Leeds Trinity University, Horsforth

Working in close liaison with client and Farrell and Clark Architects in preparation of a pedestrianised landscaped entrance approach to Leeds Trinity University's new foyer to their main teaching block.  This included prior assistance on a campus wide landscape analysis and strategy which established and illustrated the requirement for pedestrian hubs adjoining the main teaching block entrances.

The scheme comprised a tree lined paved piazza approach with seating, shrub planting and grassed areas.

The new landscaping works to the main entrance areas have made a striking difference to the building setting and contributed to a welcoming new external environment to our key buildings.

Margaret Twigg has worked with the design teams and contractors and contributed to the professional teamwork which has made the projects such a success, with positive feedback and comment from staff, students and visitors alike."
